BALZAC PROJECT

The Balzac Project by Kuiekem Studio was a full penthouse renovation designed to feel calm, refined, and timeless. We developed a soft palette blending deep blues, warm beiges, and dark wood accents, then elevated the architecture with wall mouldings and bespoke joinery throughout. Key interventions included a custom room divider with an integrated library to separate the hallway from the living area while keeping light and flow, and a statement TV wall with a stone-effect finish and integrated LED lighting. In a compact children’s room, we solved the challenge of fitting two beds without bunk beds by designing a custom central shelf and tailored headboards to create two distinct zones for a girl and a boy.
