The Zen Lodge was a complete renovation by Kuiekem Studio, designed to feel warm, calm, and instantly welcoming. The client wanted a soft palette, so we layered greys, cream tones, and natural wood, then introduced terracotta accents throughout to bring warmth and the touch of colour the space needed. We maximised every inch of space, adding wall mouldings in the living room, integrating a hidden office within the bedroom wardrobe, and designing a highly functional kitchen in grey tones with generous storage. In the bathroom, we improved usability by replacing the old bathtub with a shower and adding a WC with a built-in handwashing basin to make the room more functional and guest-friendly.
